SDI is a defense technology company specializing in innovative next generation ammunition solutions. SDI’s ammunition can be deployed for Military or Law Enforcement situations that do not require the use of lethal force. SDI has developed exciting ammunition products that can be easily deployed into existing military and law enforcement weapons. These products consist of the Wireless Electric Projectile 40mm (WEP40), and the Blunt Impact Projectile 40mm (BIP40). The WEP40 when deployed emits a Wireless Electro-Muscular Disruption Technology that incapacitates the targeted subject. The BIP40 is a blunt impact round that works on the concept of pain compliance. Using the BIP40′s patented Blunt Impact Technology SDI has recently released a Marking and a Peper Spray round to its arsenal.

SDI has been in existence since 2005. The Company was formed to develop solutions for the modern Warfighter and specialized Law Enforcement personnel who seek an alternative to existing less than lethal ammunition.

The WEP40 features an extended range capability and SDI’s unique incapacitation technology. The BIP40 and WEP40 incorporates an innovative collapsible head for kinetic energy mitigation that makes it highly effective even at very close range.
